The very best lube you can use in that rear end is Torco 85W-140 which is a mineral-based GL-5 gear lube. Currie resells it on their website, relabeled with Currie's name on the label. I have had a ton of experience in running high pinion 60's from TeraFlex, Dynatrac, and Currie. I have had 4.88, 5.13, and 5.38 gears break in axles from all 3 manufacturers.
