WebSamples were collected from 53 non-diseased tissue sites across nearly 1000 individuals, primarily for molecular assays including WGS, WES and RNA-seq. Remaining samples are stored in the GTEx Biobank. The GTEx Portal provides open access to data including gene expression, QTLs, and histology images. Web23 Jan 2015 · Here, we present a map of the human tissue proteome based on an integrated omics approach that involves quantitative transcriptomics at the tissue and organ level, combined with tissue microarray–based immunohistochemistry, to achieve spatial localization of proteins down to the single-cell level.
